Ovarian Cysts

What you need to know:

There are no natural remedies or complementary therapies that will treat this condition. Dietary changes may help the healing process, but they should only be used in conjunction with other essential conventional medical treatments.

A registered naturopath may well suggest a series of repeated short fasts and a very specific elimination diet to rid the body of toxins and speed the healing of the cysts. But you shouldn’t attempt this on your own as the condition is specific to each patient and it also needs to be strictly supervised and constantly monitored - particularly when the patient is a young woman. Her doctor or consultant also need to be kept informed of any dietary changes you’re making.
