Laryngo-Tracheo-Bronchitis

Laryngo-tracheo-bronchitis is inflammation of the larynx, the trachea and the lungs causing cough, sputum and shortness of breath - usually in children. While many cases are caused by viral illness, the bacterium haemophilus influenzae is also frequently responsible, and will respond to appropriate antibiotics.
