What you need to know:

Vitiligo is poorly understood and the real cause needs to be determined in each case. It affects 1-4% of the world population.  Some research has used nutritional therapy to help.

The most useful Supplements:

  • Phenylalanine

50gm per kg of body weight -  to help the body make the skin pigment melanin

  • Betaine HCL

1-3 capsules with each meal - to improve protein digestion and ensure absorption of Phenylalanine

  • Tyrosine

500mg to 1,000mg per day

  • Copper

1-4 mg per day - to help convert Tyrosine into melanin

  • B Complex Vitamins

Hi-potency product 1-2 times per day - to help with amino acid / protein metabolism

  • Khella

1,000mg to 4,000mg per day
