You can treat yourself by using a simple Vitamin E cream.

These essential oils are very soothing. Add them to your bath:

  • Lavender
  • Chamomile

    Foods which will help include globe artichokes, which stimulate liver function and may relieve itching, and avocadoes, for their vitamin E. Rubbing the inside of avocado skin on the sore area also reduces irritation.
