Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation occurs when penetration is swiftly followed by ejaculation, or when ejaculation occurs before full erection has been achieved. This is usually due to anxiety, and may respond to psychosexual therapy, local anaesthetic creams to lessen the sensitivity of the glans, or small doses of anti-anxiety agents. Reassurance that little is amiss, and that all will be well, will often suffice.
