Nosebleeds

What you need to know:

If bleeding is persistent, it’s essential that you consult your doctor. For occasional nosebleeds, however, there are several natural remedies.

The most useful Herbs:

For the last 4 herbs, soak a swab of cotton wool in tincture of the herb and insert into the nostril.

Homoeopathy

The most helpful homoeopathic preparations are Arnica and Phosphorus. Take 1 tablet every 15 mins for 2 hours.

Other useful advice:

A quick first aid remedy if ice cubes don’t work is to put 2 tspns of cider vinegar into a glass of warm water and trickle it into each nostril.
