Slipped Disc

There’s no such thing as a slipped disc. As a result of repeated strain through occupation, hobbies, day-to-day activities, trauma or long-term obesity, the wall of the disc ruptures and the jelly-like material squeezes out to form a bulge. This then presses against the spinal cord or nerve roots, causing excruciating pain, In extreme cases, the disc disintegrates and requires surgery.

Exaggerated claims that some practitioners can push the disc back into place are outrageous - it’s like trying to get the toothpaste back into the tube.
