Trapped nerves

What you need to know:

In all conditions in which pain may be caused by pressure on the nerves, your best course of action is to see a registered osteopath or chiropractor.

But you should never look for complementary therapy before getting an accurate conventional medicine diagnosis, normally by an MRI scan. You could have a severe prolapsed inter-vertebral disc, which might need surgery, and any hint of urinary or faecal incontinence might be a sign of other, more serious, problems.
