Dental Problems

Gingivitis is inflammation of the gums. It is usually a consequence of poor dental hygiene. It causes pain, sensitivity to hot or cold foods, and bleeding from the margin of the gums. Besides the build-up of plaque there is low-grade infection by bacteria. Antibiotics might help to reduce infection, but good dental hygiene is necessary to prevent recurrence and long-term dental problems.
