What you need to know:

It’s extremely important to maintain a strong immune system to help prevent recurrent infections.

The most useful Supplements:

Use the following supplements daily on a long-term basis, including a daily hi-potency multivitamin and mineral supplement:

  • Vitamin C

1gm to 3gm per day

  • Vitamin A

20,000iu per day

  • Bioflavanoids

500mg to 1,000mg per day

  • Zinc with Copper

30mg and 2mg per day

The most useful Herbs:

  • Echinacea

500mg 3 times per day

Echinacea works better if taken in cycles but it is safe to take  long-term if you wish. At the first sign of an attack or if flu is prevalent, start taking extra of this immune-boosting herb or use it with Garlic or Astragalus.

Other useful advice:

During an episode of chronic bronchitis, follow the extra advice given for acute bronchitis. Between attacks it’s vital to keep the lungs exercised. Walking, breathing exercises, swimming, singing and playing a wind instrument will all help.
