Bronchopneumonia

Bronchopneumonia more commonly affects the elderly, particularly those with a previous history of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or other underlying lung problem. In some cases of acute onset the only symptom may be confusion. The responsible organism here is often haemophilus influenzae.
