Urinary Incontinence

There are no specific herbs or supplements appropriate to this condtion, but pelvic floor exercises using a series of graduated weighted metal cones into the vagina can make an enormous difference. You can get them from most chemists these days and most pharmacists are very well trained to tell you how to use them.

Your GP will be able to put you in contact with a specialist nurse or physiotherapist trained in the treatment of this condition - or ask the practice nurse.

You could also try yoga, which concentrates on muscle and breath control.
