Toddler Diarrhoea

Toddler diarrhoea, known as non-specific diarrhoea of childhood, is the passage of frequent stools of variable consistency and quantity in an otherwise fit and thriving toddler, unrelated to any particular dietary component. The stool often contains undigested foods such as peas and carrots. The cause is probably related to disordered intestinal motility. It resolves over time, and agents which reduce intestinal motility are probably best avoided.
