Impetigo

Impetigo is superficial infection of the skin by the bacteria staphylococcus aureus or streptococcus, or both of them together. It commonly occurs around the mouth and nose or on the hands, and is rapidly spread around the body as the child touches itself. It is highly contagious to other people (so don't share towels) and will need antibiotic treatment.
