Ganglia

What you need to know:

If you’ve ever had one of these funny lumps, you’ll know that they seldom cause any real problems. Unless they’re really unsightly, painful or in places where they cause friction or discomfort, your best bet is to leave them alone. It’s certainly not a good idea to try bashing your ganglion with the family Bible - you’ll probably do more harm than good. There aren’t any natural remedies or complementary therapies to treat this condition, but regular massage and rubbing them with a soft brush and alternate hot and cold water may help.
