This broad section of disorders are rarely serious and can be divided into three sections, each with their own simple natural remedies.
Fungal infections (see systemic candidiasis):
Crush two cloves of Garlic into a bowl of warm water. Add two tablespoons of cider vinegar. Soak your affected hands in the bowl for at least five minutes twice a day. You also need to eat lots of Garlic and take a Garlic pill. And you need to be patient. Fungal infections can take up to six months to improve
Brittle nails:
Take 2.5mg of Biotin and 20ml or 20grams of a fatty acid supplement (e.g. fish oil, evening primrose oil, linseed oil, Hemp oil) per day until nails improve. In the meantime soak the nails in warm olive oil at least twice a week. The oil shouldn’t be too hot - heat it by standing a jug in a saucepan of hot water. You can re-use the oil - but not on your salads, of course.
Soft nails:
This isn’t a sign of Calcium deficiency as some people believe, but white specks on soft nails may be caused by a lack of Zinc, so take a supplement. Extra Magnesium may also help
