Turner's Syndrome

Turner’s syndrome is a condition where the number of sex chromosomes is abnormal - either there is a single X chromosome or there is an additional one. Usually there is no functioning ovarian tissue, but the external genitalia are female. Although they are infertile normal development can occur with hormone replacement therapy at the time of puberty.
