Down's Syndrome

What you need to know:

Anyone who has had anything to do with a Down’s child will know how deeply affectionate and wonderfully out-going they are; it’s only the rest of the world that’s tempted to shy away - usually out of embarrassment.

There are no natural remedies or complementary therapies that can reverse this condition, but obviously good nutrition is essential and cranial Osteopathy is a useful therapy, too. There’s no scientific reason that can explain the benefits of this treatment, but there’s no doubt that Down’s kids and adults enjoy the sessions, and parents report that they seem to do better with the treatment.
