Bee pollen is a pollen mixture produced by bees and collected from hives.
It is sometimes used as a preventative treatment for hay fever, or to enhance memory or energy levels.
Bee pollen is very high in protein and carbohydrates and contains 22 amina acids, trace vitamins and minerals.

Bee pollen can cause severe allergic reactions in people with allergies to pollem or bee-stings. However, it also seems to contain natural antibiotic properties and to boost growth and IQ levels in children and athletes.
