What you need to know

Meat products are useful in Heart and Circulation, Nervous and Reproductive Systems

Meat is good for prevention and treatment of disorders like anaemia, stress, PMS, male infertility and nervous disorders.

What does this food contain?

Unless you’re a vegetarian, beef, pork, lamb, venison, rabbit are all foods that should be included in your diet.
If you are a vegetarian, please click here for alternative protein sources to meat.
Due to intensive farming methods even lean beef contains quite a high proportion of saturated fat, so grilling or roasting on a rack will remove much of the fat. All meats are rich in iron, zinc, B vitamins and protein which makes them a good choice for anyone with anaemia and stress related conditions where both Zinc and B vitamins are helpful.

Red meat is best avoided by anyone with gout, arthritis, heart disease and high blood pressure.
