Nutrients
Carrots have long been considered to help with regulating menstruation and of improving the flow of breast milk in lactating women.
One big carrot provides a whole day’s dose of vitamin A, vital for healthy skin and increased resistance to ear, nose and throat infections, as well as night vision.
For infants and children with diarrhoea, pureed carrots are both healthy food and good medicine.
