What you need to know

Eat Apricots fresh or dried for all skin, hair, eye and reproductive problems. They are excellent for supporting the Immune system. Their high levels of beta carotene, which gives them their distinctive colour, makes them useful in preventing cancer.
Fresh Apricots are best for reproductive problems, and for skin, hair and eye conditions. Dried Apricots are better for constipation, high blood pressure, anaemia and fluid retention.

What does this food contain?

Apricots are rich in betacarotene, which is converted by the body to vitamin A. As such, it is very important for treating and preventing infections and skin problems. It is also very useful for people suffering from, or at risk of, cancer (eg smokers). Dried apricots are very good at relieving constipation. They are also great for women as they contain Iron and potassium which helps with fluid retention.

Dried Apricots should always be well washed before eating as they are often preserved with Sulphur dioxide, which can trigger asthma attacks.
