Tinnitus

Tinnitus is noise in the ear such as buzzing or ringing or whistling, which is arising from the ear itself and not from any external source. It may be caused by wax or problems with the eardrum or the inner ear, or as a side effect of drugs such as aspirin, but usually there is no correctable cause. Over time we become less aware of the noise.
