Conductive Deafness

Conductive deafness is a reduction in hearing due to a blockage of conduction of the sound waves from the outer ear to the inner ear. It may be due to an obstruction (such as wax) in the ear canal, infection or mucous in the middle ear, perforation of the eardrum, or malfunction of the ossicles.
