Paget's Disease

Paget’s disease of the nipple is the term given to a scaly eczematous change which occurs on the nipple in association with an underlying Cancer affecting one of the ducts. Since this may be an early presentation it requires urgent investigation. The nipples can of course be subject to eczema as can any other part the body - the difference between eczema and Pagets disease is that eczema usually affects both nipples, and it itches.
