Fibro Adenoma

Fibro adenoma is the name given to describe a benign tumour of the breast which consists of fibrous tissue and glandular tissue contained within a capsule. This is also known as a breast mouse, because it runs away from the fingers of the examining physician. As with other lumps in the breast it needs assessment. Many women - and their doctors - prefer that they be removed.
