Tumours

Brain tumours can cause headache either by increasing the pressure of the Cerebro Spinal Fluid (CSF), or by stretching of the lining of the brain - the dura - which is pain sensitive. The headache caused by a brain tumour becomes progressively severe over a short period of time.
