EAT LIVER (but not if you're pregnant -because Liver contains high levels of Vitamin A which can be damaging to the foetus) - it's rich in iron, which helps the brain function.
HAVE LOTS OF DARK GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES - the Vitamin C which they contain helps absorb Iron from other foods.
EAT DRIED FRUITS - they also help Iron absorption.
TAKE EXTRA VITAMINS A (
but not if you're pregnant), B AND E - essential for a healthy brain.
EAT MORE SHELLFISH - it's rich in Zinc, brilliant brain food.
GO FOR THE HERBS AND SPICES - basil, rosemary, ginger and liquorice all have essential oils which help the brain.
