Normocytic Anaemia

Normocytic anaemia is anaemia where the red blood cells look normal in size and colour, but there are fewer of them. It can occur in pregnancy, as a result of any chronic disease process such as rheumatoid arthritis, or in association with disorders such as an under active thyroid, or kidney failure.
